I Have a Rant
Okay, by now you probably have guessed that Britt and I both like Ikea, but I do have one little complaint. It was just this one particular store, so here’s hoping that this isn’t something that you come across in other branches. So here’s my rant.
Last weekend we bought two pieces of furniture to put in our “mudroom” turned into a kitchen scullery. We found exactly what we were looking for, placed our order and went to pick it up. It was sooo easy. It is supposed to be waiting for you when you get to the pick-up area. Unfortunately it was not. We sat and sat and sat and finally I had to “rattle a few cages”. The customary ten minute wait had turned into 45 minutes and anyone who knows me knows that I have noooo patience whatsoever. Their excuse was that there were only two on staff for picking… and that’s my fault?? I’m the customer here. Whoever is in charge of scheduling should have known that Saturday just might be busy!
