Another Way to Waste Money
Correct me if I’m wrong, but who here thinks buying movies is the biggest waste of money out there? It’s bad enough they charge an arm and a leg to see the thing in the theater, but then they expect you to pay upwards of $30 to have the privilege of owning the thing. My mom loves to buy movies, so she can watch them ‘any time she wants’. ‘Any time’ comes once every 6 months or so, 90% of the movies she’s bought are still wrapped in plastic. I guess having the original packaging still in tacked, might make the movies worth more at the next garage sale.

I am all for saving money but I have to personally agree with your mom. I know this will dissapoint many who know me. However, I am ashamed to say that it is actually cheaper for DH and I to buy movies than to rent due to our inablility to get the rented movies back on time. You could never imagine our late fees!

Yes, having to return the movies was a royal pain in the neck. Now, when I’m done, I just put them back on the shelf. Works for me :) And those movies I haven’t unwrapped… I’ll get to them when the mood hits!
