Clothes for Rent
“Stars have always relied on borrowed frocks to give them the edge on the red carpet. Now a new breed of high-end rental showrooms is making it easier for the rest of us to dress up in style without making a long-term commitment to a gown or shelling out thousands for a bag that’s out of fashion by its second outing. “Let’s face it: most women don’t want to wear the same thing to an event more than once,” says Joanna Doniger of the London-based evening-wear-rental company One Night Stand. And today’s rentals can be straight off the catwalks or hard-to-find vintage pieces.”
Now I just might learn to like this idea. To own the outfit outright just might be a tad more than I can manage, but this way suddenly opens some door! I will have to go looking for such a store in my own backyard, but if I can’t find one… London sounds nice for a holiday ;) Hey, we have relatives over there and I’m sure that Britt will find a way to get the time off work. Most of the time she has no use for shopping, but she does like to travel!

You can ‘rent’ dresses at DressVault.com (we call it ‘borrowing’ ; )
Or lend what you already own for extra $$!
