Spring Lips are Red Lips
Those red lips that were so fashionable in the 40s, simply haven’t gone away and they are making a name for themself this this spring yet again. But for those of you who haven’t been able to find the right red lipstick, you might want to opt for a red lip gloss instead. It is a lot easier to wear.
And if you have picked up a red that you thought would work and once you get it home, realize that it’s just not working, add a bit of another color to it and see what you can come up with. You might find yourself with a unique color that is all your own!! (Avon used to sell a little compact with four colors that you could mix into your lipstick. My favorite was the blue! It made every lipstick color I owned… just pop!)
So what should you look for when you put on red lipstick?? Suddenly a brighter complexion and teeth that suddenly look whiter!
And for those of you who are saying, that models in the spring fashion magazines are wearing neutral lipsticks… I say, you wear what works for you. Neutral shades of lipstick on me makes me looked washed out. I need color!
