Simple Country Pleasures

I have been browsing through some of books and yes, I have about a zillion of them and no bookshelves yet in the new house, so I’m thinking about ways to decorate the house with books. Well, I got just as far as picking the book up and then I was lost. I had to sit down and browse through a few pages.

And while I’m a city gal through and through, I really enjoyed everything that this book had to offer. Who knows, maybe there is just a wee bit of country in me that I didn’t know about! And on page 113, there is actually a recipe for Rose Petal Sandwiches. I have gone all this time without eating a rose petal sandwich?? Anyone??
