1 opinion for An Ebel Watch for Christmas??

[disclaimer] I don’t know anything about Ebel watches in particular. [/disclaimer]

I just wanted to leave a comment to say that I had one particularly bad experience with JomaShop. I was lured by their claims of offering authentic watches at deep discounts. I ordered a Movado watch from them once, and the site indicated that the model was in stock when I placed the order. One week went by, but I heard nothing. After subsequent follow-up emails and phone calls, I learned that the watch was in fact on backorder and wouldn’t be in for a couple of weeks. Since I needed it for a gift, I couldn’t wait that long. I canceled my order (over the phone) and ordered from somewhere else.

Imagine my surprise when, 6 weeks later, I received the watch from JomaShop! They hadn’t canceled my order at all. And now the burden was on me to take a trip out to UPS and return the watch back to them. Plus, I had the charges on my credit card for another month while the watch went through the store’s return process. No, I didn’t have to pay anything, but it was still $700 of my credit limit that I couldn’t use, know what I mean?

So — buyer beware with JomaShop!!
