Never Buy on Impulse
Just because it looks vintage, doesn’t mean that it is going to be any good. And it is often the case that if it looks vintage, the store owner will jack up the price to match. It won’t be anywhere near worth the cost posted, but the store owner doesn’t care. He’s simply hoping that you will fall in love with the piece and pay his price.

Yes, I’m guilty too. I bought on impulse and it wasn’t until I got the piece home that I noticed how badly it was actually constructed. But I learned.
Today’s lesson… never buy on impulse!
