Shopping and the Modern Man
“Modern man is frantically trying to earn enough to buy things he’s too busy to enjoy.”
Frank Clark
Actually, I hate to admit it, but there is some truth in that statement. I have about 20 odd years worth of magazines and I simply haven’t the time to enjoy them. Actually, I even picked up some really old women’s magazines published during the war and they are still sitting on the shelf. It is amazing to peek into the life of women who lived before we were even born!
