The more you shop, the more little tricks you learn and I will be passing them along every time I think of one that has worked for me! So, here is the first… ;)
Get into the habit of asking if the store can give you a better deal. I saw a ridiculously priced gothic lamp that I knew that Britt would love, but it had a tiny crack on the shade. I pointed it out to the salesperson and asked if it could be reduced? She literally jumped on the possibility of unloading a damaged piece of merchadise and offered me 50% off! And it was just a little crack. It really wasn’t any big deal and I would have bought it anyway. But from what I could gather, a lot of people had inquired about the lamp and then walked away because of the price or the damage?? Anyway, today’s lesson is that if you don’t ask, you won’t get!
