Do you know how to complain?
“Nothing ruins an evening at the newest chi chi restaurant faster than bad service. First the waiter ignores you, then food arrives cold and it isn’t even what you ordered! And what about that airline that bumps you from your flight and doesn’t apologize for the inconvenience. Have you ever been:
ripped off
sold a bad product
treated rudely by a salesperson
denied service
We bet you’ve experienced all of the above. But what to do about it? Whether you want your money back or just need to vent, there are a few things to know about effective complaining.”
That happened to us a few months ago and perhaps we didn’t handle the situation as well as we could have. We simply accepted the poor restaurant food and then decided never to go back… which is a shame because it was one of our favorite restaurants up until that night.
Here’s a few ways that one can deal with a poor experience.
And then there was last night. It happened again. We went to a small restaurant on the way home from Disney Land and the waitress was absolutely terrible. Perhaps she had been on her feet since morning, but again, we just accepted the bad service and said nothing.
Do you look for excuses for bad service or do you fly off the handle??
