Mystery Shopping Too Good To Be True
Now can you think of a better job than getting paid to evaluate companies and their shopping practices?? Poor ”Beth” thought that it was the perfect job for her until it all blew up in her face.
“Beth sent two money orders to addresses in Canada for nearly $4,000. She was told to keep the rest of the money, about $700, as her paycheck. A week later, her bank called to say the check was counterfeit. Beth now has to pay all that money back.
“That is a huge problem going on right now with counterfeit checks.” Dean Taylor, with the Better Business Bureau here in San Antonio, says fake checks are common in work-from-home scams. ”
