Believe it or not, there was once upon a time when we didn’t have flat irons to straighten our hair. That is definitely not a time I would want to return to. I use mine just about as often as I use my blow dryer! And if we can find it on sale… even better. You would not believe what my hair looks like before a session with my flat iron. And no, I’m not going to post any photos!
Did you know that the regular iron, back in the late 1800s was also referred to as a flat iron (for obvious reasons) and into the early seventies, women were still using the regular iron to straighten their hair, but in those days, it usually took two people to do it. Not that I ever did it lol, but the person who wanted to straighten their hair would lay their head on the ironing board and then the best friend would… do the ironing.
Thank goodness times have changed.

The CHI 2″ Turbo is a great iron. It is perfect for unruly, long, frizzy, very curly hair. The size of the iron allows you to very quickly straighten the hair. At this price it is an incredible deal. I am going to pick a few up!
