Back-to-school shopping easier the 2nd time around… I Don’t Think So
I don’t even know what made me stop and read this article. I have one son who has his own house now and my daughter lives upstairs in the loft… pretty much taking care of herself and us (her parents) if truth be known. So, I really don’t have to do any of the “back-to-school” shopping anymore. Those days are behind me. But Mary Pat, brought back a lot of memories and not a few giggles.
“We are pretty much done with shopping, except for one important item. The chore I refuse to do by myself is to buy backpacks. I’d been to backpack hell and back with my two daughters. I wasn’t going there with these two teenagers even though Jen and Jack had both authorized me to select backpacks on their behalf. “

Both Britt and Jamie lived at home while going to college so I didn’t have to furnish dorm rooms for them. I didn’t realize just how lucky I was until I read the article. I made a lucky escape!
