Spiga Belted Walker Coat
Could have really used this coat last week. I had no idea that Chicago could be sooooo cold in October! I don’t want to think how bad it must be in January. But, I guess you simply learn to dress for the temps!
Anyway, I’m really drawn to this particular coat. It’s probably the length. Most come down to my knees and I’m simply not tall enough to pull that off. I need this length to make me LOOK taller. Being 5′5 (and lying about the last half inch) puts me into a really awkward size bracket. I’m not quite petite and I’m not normal either… okay, wrong word. Let’s say that I’m not average size either. I always wanted to be taller and what do I do?? I pass the tall and willowy gene to my daughter who is a nice 5′8! It might not be tall and willowy in her mind, but it would definitely work for me. All I can hope for is that my next time around I get in the right line when they are handing out “height”. Maybe I will keep an eye out for the boob line while I’m at it.
