Stocking Stuffer Lists for Dads
I’m going to start small and work my way up as the days go by, so bookmark the list so you can see what I come up with. Coming soon… stocking stuffer lists for Moms and 20 something daughters. Hopefully, the suggestions will apply to most of the people on your stocking stuffer list.
1. hand cream
2. lip balm
3. chocolate… my husband loves the stuff and usually gets tons from everyone.
4. cross word puzzle books… they drive me crazy, but he loves them. Would it work for your husband??
5.cd… especially if they seldom buy them for themselves.
6. gift certificates to restaurants… okay this is as much for me as it is for him… but hey, the thought is there.
7. same goes for the expensive coffee shops that he takes you to on occasion.
8. a book… my husband flies a lot and hates it when he has nothing to read on the plane.
9. a scarf… there is just something sexy about a man wearing a scarf. Don’t ask me why??
10. a good set of headphones… another item that they will seldom go out and buy for themselves.
11. *socks… boring I know, but one look at their sock drawer will tell you whether they are needed or not. (story about socks below “READ MORE)
Sunday’s Update…
12. Potato chips… my husband is addicted to them. So what’s your husband/dad addicted to??
okay, I’m starting to dry a blank. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
I found this kind of funny when my husband told me about it, but you might have to picture it in your mind. You know the drill when you go through security… you have to take your shoes off and put them in those little bins and then walk through the screening “gateway”. Well, he mentioned the fact that so many men, dressed really well by the way, more often than not, have noticeable holes in their socks.

My philosophy for buying guys gifts is this: boys of all ages love toys.
Thinkgeek.com has a lot of cool gadgets, toys, and tools that would make good stocking stuffers. I usually by most if not all of my gifts for my husband there. He has really enjoyed the color changing putty and the magnet kits.
