Most Unusual Boots Spotted This Morning…
I didn’t go looking for unusual boots, I just sort of found them. I’m sitting in the frozen north looking for anything that will keep me warm and boots just popped into my mind. I had this great pair when I was volunteering at my kid’s school a few years ago. They had to be the ugliest boots on the planet, but they sure were warm. And when you are wondering around a playground at -30 C and yes, they did send the kids out in that, you had to know how to dress for the weather. But I’m getting off track. Lets get on to these unusual boots that I found for you. :)
So what is so unusual about these boots?? They use flannel as on of the materials. Might be good for sheets, but not for our winters. They do look impressive though. Available at Saks
Now these might not be high fashion, but I sure would take a pair right now. They have removable sheepskin lining. Available at Bloomingdales If these boots can’t keep your feet warm, I think that we should just close the door and not go out until spring hits… whenever that is.
Another boot using a material that we couldn’t get away with up here. Unusual color too. It’s called “Wasabi” hmmm, wonder where they came up with that?? ;) Available at Zappos

And then you have these by Miu Miu. Well, you certainly don’t have to worry about breaking off the heel and yes, I’m constantly aware of the height of the heel during the winter months. Now about that bow… Available at BlueFly
Now I’m going to go downstairs and put on the kettle. I could use a nice hot cup of tea!
